Aerotec Engines, a world-leading pistol engine overhaul centre, needed help with modernizing their web presence to appeal to their clients, as well as to attract new business. I helped them with rebranding and the design and development of their website.

Ocean Startup Project

I was contract by the Ocean Startup Project to create an online presence for their brand. They needed a way to share their various events and resources to an array of industry professionals, students and mentors.

Northpoint Properties

Originally a collaboration with Katelyn Bourgoin from RedRiot, I designed a user-friendly web presence for this Halifax-based rental property company. While their tenants range in demographic, they focus on targeting students, so we wanted to provide content that was essential to both parents and students, along with easy options for viewing apartments, applying for rental units and contacting management.

Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE)

I collaborated with Cliff Thompson of General Public and John Thompson to produce a web presence for Canada’s up and coming incubator for the Oceanic Industry. With an already strong brand designed by Cliff and John, I was able to translate their vision online, as well as created a request for information form and blog area which gave COVE the opportunity to engage more directly with potential tenant interests and the industry’s thriving community.

Sparkle Fund Branding

I had the pleasure of working for this great organization that offers dental care to under privileged kids and adolescents. Sparkle Fund wanted a colourful, vibrant look that represented the youth that they help on a daily basis.

I was also asked to put together an informational rack card for the Good Beginnings Fund, which is supported by the Halifax Region Children’s Aid Foundation. This fund provides under privileged youth with the opportunity to attend summer and recreational camps, communication devices for children with special needs and eyeglasses, medication and mental health counselling.

Oneup Fitness & One to One Wellness Branding

Dennis Page and I collaborated on both the brand identity and website design. The client was looking for a vibrant brand colour that could be used to spark interest and catch the eye.

We decided that a fiery red would be just what they needed. We incorporated the ‘power button’ icon to connote strength, power, energy, stamina and motivation. We used the brand colour to express energy on the website, using black and white photography with a splash of red vibrancy used sparingly throughout the site.

Atlantic Chaga Tea

The owners of Atlantic Chaga Tea were looking to tap into the market of medicinal teas. While leveraging a family member working in the forestry industry, they were in need of an attractive and informative web presence to sell their product. With the help of some beautiful photography, I put together a visually stunning site with a simple PayPal e-commerce integration.

Total Kneads Website

Total Kneads was looking for a clean and simple design for their website. They wanted their clients to be able to easily book an appointment with staff and produce a warm and inviting web presence.

Time+Space Media Website

Time+Space Media, a leading media buying and analytics company asked me to help re-design their website, based on their refreshed brand, designed by Dennis Page and Oliver Hill. A tagline line was developed during the re-branding exercise—Navigating Success.

We used ‘pathway’ graphical elements to demonstrate how different paths are taken to achieve success for their clients.

General Public Website

I teamed up with Cliff Thompson from General Public to code the website design he’d put together. The goal was to showcase the work that General Public does, by using the one-pager scrolling website layout. Sections were created to divide up the areas of expertise and to organize the information.
